Antoinette Kelly
Antoinette is a retail zombie, who attends Texas Woman's University, to fulfill her appetite for knowledge. She is currently working towards a career as a Content Specialist, and Freelance/Creative Writer. She has a lame love of geeky stuff, cute things, and shiny objects. Past Projects
Illuminate the Mind through Literature
Many of the previous works featured on here, are past college assignments. The displayed assignments, are ones that show my skills of researching, and writing. Many of these assignments, have to do with literature in some way, which explains my headline.
Analysis of Richard Wright's "Black Boy"
My goal for this assignment was to answer the following questions:
What does the literature mean?
How does it aid in our understanding of what it meant to be an African American at the time the literature took place?
What does the literature teach us about history that we would not normally learn in a classroom or in a textbook?
How does it maneuver for empowerment?
Projects
The "Always Geeky Antoinette" and "The Positive Iris", are blogs that I attend to off and on. The "Journey to the West" site, and "The Voyage" site was school projects.
“That is part of the beauty of all literature. You discover that your longings are universal longings, that you're not lonely and isolated from anyone. You belong.”
