Antoinette Kelly

Antoinette is a retail zombie, who attends Texas Woman's University, to fulfill her appetite for knowledge. She is currently working towards a career as a Content Specialist, and Freelance/Creative Writer. She has a lame love of geeky stuff, cute things, and shiny objects. She also has a lazy sidekick, who is a Bearded Dragon.

Annotated Bibliography of the Almost Absence of Native American Literature

The Elephant in the Room known as Native American Literature.

Analysis of Richard Wright's "Black Boy"

My goal for this assignment was to answer the following questions:

  • What does the literature mean?

  • How does it aid in our understanding of what it meant to be an African American at the time the literature took place?

  • What does the literature teach us about history that we would not normally learn in a classroom or in a textbook?

  • How does it maneuver for empowerment?

The Not-So-Scary Brothers Grimm

An essay about the Grimm Brothers, and the disproving of the mysterious air, that surrounds them. Also, some insight of the accomplishments they achieved outside of literature.

“That is part of the beauty of all literature. You discover that your longings are universal longings, that you're not lonely and isolated from anyone. You belong.”
